Wedding Reception Guidance Update

Yesterday there were more announcements regarding wedding receptions from the Scottish Government. Although we still have a way to go, it seems like things are FINALLY beginning to move in the right directions, towards more of a normality.

Firstly, the restrictions regarding seating arrangements will be in line with those on indoor hospitality. Also, and I think this is a biggie for a lot of couples, and suppliers - live music will now be allowed from Level 2, which is due to begin on the 17th of May. However, it seems unlikely that dancing will be allowed before Level 0, which is hopefully by the end of June - although first dances are now allowed, as well as parents to join if they are from the same household.

Marquees will now be allowed on private/public land, although not in a home garden, and your suppliers (if not working for the venue) will still need to be counted in your numbers.

There are a lot of things that need clarified, but lets take this as a step in the right direction.
